Description
Acacia harpophylla, commonly known as Brigalow. It has a moderately fine grain and a smooth texture, which can be polished to a high sheen. The wood’s natural color ranges from golden brown to dark brown. It is found in central and coastal Queensland to northern New South Wales. It can reach up to 25 m (82 ft) tall and forms extensive open-forest communities on clay soils.
