Measuring 96mm across the polished brass blade, this hammer is great hammering down larger areas of veneer.
The blade is rounded and polished for smooth action.
The body of the hammer is made from high quality laminated plywood, using round brass dowels all the way through and finished with shellac.
A veneer hammer is an absolute must when veneering with hide glue, it’s used more like a squeegee and not at all as a hammer.
This is one veneer hammer at 96mm width.
Also available in a kit together with 48mm and 72mm wide hammers.
