Keepsake Box with Mappa Veneer

“Hi there, good to see these burr veneers, I’ve had some for quite a while and I was unsure if I could successfully laminate it so that I could use it in a keepsake box. The gluing went well and so I made a sterling silver keepsake box. The design is paua shell to represent the ocean, cuttlefish bone cast silver piece to represent the waves breaking on the sand and the burr to be the sandy rocky shore. I also used some blue resin to represent some small pools of water in the holes in the burr.”
