This is a batch of the straight line veneer cutter with discoloured aluminium due to long term storage in high humidity.
Functionally they are perfectly fine, it’s just superficial.

Two images have been added to show a typical discoloration, but they all look a bit different to each other.

This veneer cutter is mainly used for straight cuts such as when joining sheets together.
It is designed to be used on our normal veneer thickness of 0.6mm (1/42″).
It uses a regular utility blade that stick out just enough to cut through the veneer and minimizes the risks of accidental deep cuts on your fingers.

The cutter works best if used on a cutting mat as it allows the blade to cut through the veneer and lightly into the cutting board.
